Having most of my clinical experience working in community settings such as schools, ministries, community agencies, and businesses, it was definitely clear that people did not know how trauma impacts the individuals and the communities they live in. It was my priority to make sure to connect with these organizations and give the education, resources, and skills they need to better understand the people they serve. I believe every single student deserves to be in a safe environment that is conducive to learning. A lot of things happen at home that translates into poor grades and misbehavior at school.
